Marnie began her dance training in 1973 at a local dance studio in Milton, Ontario.
She has owned and operated Dance Elite since 1998. Her love for dance inspired
her to attend the University of Waterloo where she achieved an honors degree in
dance. Marnie's years at the University of Waterloo refined her knowledge of dance
and helped her develop a full appreciation of ballet and modern techniques. Marnie
has since been certified through the Canadian Dance Teachers Association and
Dance Masters of America. Her choreography has won numerous special awards
including 2 medals for Team Canada at the I.D.O. Worlds Showdance Championship
in Germany. Over the years, Marnie has inspired dancers of all ages and abilities to
love the art of dance. She constantly strives to better her self and her students while
encouraging them to achieve their personal best.
